چکیده

Objective: The aim of this study was to assess the micro-push-out bond strength a mineral-based root canal sealer, BioRoot RCS in canals prepared by K3XF rotary systems two different tapers. Material and Methods: Eighty caries free maxillary central incisors were used study. samples allocated into 4 groups (n=20) according sealer taper instruments. obturated using single cone obturation technique. From each 1mm thick slices at coronal, middle apical thirds collected hard tissue microtome under continuous water coolant. Push-out tests done for these sections Universal testing machine (INSTRON 8801) crosshead speed 1mm/min. One-way analysis variance (ANOVA) compare strengths within Tukey’s multiple post hoc pair-wise comparison strengths. Results: AH Plus exhibited higher than BioRootRCS though they did not differ significantly (p>0.05). Preparation with 6% instruments showed 4% Conclusion: There no significant difference between values Plus. high statistically.

Micro Push-out Bond Strength and Bioactivity Analysis of a Bioceramic Root Canal Sealer

INTRODUCTION Bioactive endodontic sealers have been developed to improve the quality of root canal obturation. EndoSequence Bioceramic (BC) Sealer is amongst calcium silicate-based materials recently developed for permanent root canal filling. The objective of this study was to evaluate the bioactivity of BC Sealer and its micro push-out bond strength to dentin compared to AH-Plus (AH) sealer. ...

Push-out bond strength and dentinal tubule penetration of different root canal sealers used with coated core materials.

OBJECTIVES The aim of this study was to compare the push-out bond strength and dentinal tubule penetration of root canal sealers used with coated core materials and conventional gutta-percha. MATERIALS AND METHODS A total of 72 single-rooted human mandibular incisors were instrumented with NiTi rotary files with irrigation of 2.5% NaOCl. The smear layer was removed with 17% ethylenediaminetet...

Evaluation of the physicochemical properties and push-out bond strength of MTA-based root canal cement.

AIM This study investigated the flowability, setting time, pH, calcium release and bond strength of a MTA-based cement (MTA Fillapex(®)) compared to AH Plus and Sealapex. MATERIALS AND METHODS For the flowability test, the ISO 6876:2001 specification was utilized and for the setting time test, the ASTM C266-03 specification was utilized. For the pH and calcium release measurements, 10 samples...
